Phased array systems design

Phased arrays are capable of delivering very flexible and capable performance: optimised beam shaping and sidelobe control, multiple beams, electronic steering etc. However, they are challenging to deliver the performance expected with many potential pitfalls. CEMTL can assist with the whole process and deliver a working product of the antenna plus associated amplifiers to an agreed specification.

Large antennas are often deployed in inhospitable locations, and in any event will be subject to local weather conditions, CEMTL is very experienced in designing to meet appropriate environmental specifications and can ensure your product works reliably.

This work includes the Electromagnetic modelling of both the antenna and the overall array; the design of the low noise amplifier first stage and transmit power amplifier, if required.
