SKALA wideband log-periodic dipole arrays and Low Noise Amplifiers

Our product range are the CEMTL SKALA and MFAA antennas – dual-polarisation log-periodic antennas covering different frequency ranges.  All our products are extremely well characterised and specifically designed for operation in an antenna array or stand-alone.

The CEMTL SKALA product line includes three products.  SKALA2, SKALA4 and SKALA2-ultra.  Each features stainless steel construction and carefully designed integral LNA/electronics enclosure so that the antennas can be successfully deployed in a very wide range of challenging environments including extremes of cold, hot, and windy locations.   All have wide-field capability with directivity of order 7dBi and excellent performance with an LNA noise figure of 0.3 dB.  SKALA2 and SKALA4 cover the operating band 50-650MHz, while SKALA2-ultra extends this to 20-650MHz.

The CEMTL MFAA products are again ruggedised with similar wide-field capability but covering the frequency range 300-2000MHz with an LNA noise figure of 0.45 dB.
